En esta tarea, uno de los sistemas más efectivos es la aplicación de espuma de poliuretano por inyección, con el que se convierten terrenos inestables en bases sólidas.  ![Espuma para consolidación de terrenos](https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/hPefkQy5u0V5nkFZnJZcWZWWEtxyuKych6vdRohubKO10nkCwHY-4YOrv_AAFWgtAlmZalwYvlaFVcAx6YLKMKh4B9jcRjbfSooFeYTgZ_b-V2TXk8VlxoraYgnK6K1_Wdk-fQ0WZzFG)   Es el caso del **SynthePUR D-7500-A-60**, un poliol especialmente diseñado para la **consolidación de terrenos por inyección**, cuando es reaccionado en las condiciones de procesado recomendadas con un isocianato MDI polimérico como el Isocianato H o el Isocianato H-25C, produciendo espuma rígida de poliuretano.    ## Cómo se aplica la espuma de poliuretano para consolidación de terrenos La inyección de espuma de poliuretano para consolidación de terrenos es un proceso utilizado por lo general para **mejorar la estabilidad y las propiedades del suelo en construcción.**   Tras evaluar tanto las características del terreno como el diagnóstico de la solución constructiva necesaria, se determina la cantidad necesaria de producto y se debe limpiar y preparar el lugar, eliminando escombros y posibles obstrucciones que puedan interferir en la aplicación de la espuma.   Hecho esto, se realizan agujeros en el suelo a través de los cuales se inyectará la espuma de poliuretano, que se expandirá y solidificará rellenando los espacios vacíos, consolidando así el suelo. **La espuma llena las grietas y cavidades existentes, proporcionando una base más firme.** Tras su curado es recomendable realizar pruebas para comprobar si se ha logrado la estabilidad y mejora deseada en el terreno.   ![Espuma para consolidación de terrenos](https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/C4gZgY_vyCBxF0UUNM0GzutXhvEwATgnHptle0hgIQH-zdX600an5j6eVz24M8sg8Q5DZHj53wzzdtNk6Hr6oW-ILIWEpsStXoLt-QjjunA2md7FH_C_TJnkTOlcKsmKoNnMbljCxKWr)   ## Beneficios de su uso Con la aplicación del sistema colada **SynthePUR D-7500-A-60/ Isocianato H o Isocianato H-25C se consolida el terreno, se eliminan desniveles, se asientan pavimentos y se levantan zonas ya asentadas sin necesidad de interrumpir la actividad.** Todo ello redunda en menores vibraciones transmitidas por el suelo a los vehículos o a la maquinaria. Asimismo, es recomendable su aplicación para **nivelar losas**, evitando de este modo la necesidad de reemplazarlas.    ## Otras aplicaciones en construcción de la espuma de poliuretano  La espuma de poliuretano es un material muy versátil, ampliamente utilizado en la construcción. Entre sus aplicaciones más comunes se encuentra el[**aislamiento térmico y acústico**](https://blog.synthesia.com/es/topic/aislamiento)de paredes, techos y suelos, para mejorar la eficiencia energética de las edificaciones.
